International Circus Day 18/4

On Saturday, April 18, you can experience the internationally acclaimed juggler David Sosman, learn how to juggle, walk the tightrope, or perform on the trapeze, when the Circus Museum invites you to celebrate International Circus Day.

From 10:00–14:00, the whole family can explore the exhibitions, while younger children can go on a Circus Hunt and enjoy the playroom.

From 10:30–12:30, Fægtesalen will be open for Circus Fun, where the entire family can try out various circus disciplines with guidance from the Circus Museum’s artist. Guaranteed laughter and shared moments of success for both children and adults.

From 11:00–12:00, there will be a talk (in Danish) by the artist David Sosman, who you can see perform at 13:00. Sosman will talk about how he became a juggler and about life as a circus artist. Expect plenty of great stories from behind the scenes, as well as insight into the hard work and joy of being an artist.

At 13:00, experience David Sosman, one of Denmark’s very best jugglers, in Fægtesalen. Having grown up in the circus, David has attended circus school in Italy, where he refined his skills as a juggler. He has won numerous international awards and presents a show that will captivate both children and adults. Admission to the show is free.

International Circus Day is organized by the Circus Museum and the Danish Circus Friends Association. Free admission to all activities.
