Opening hours

Sunday to Thursday, 10 AM-3 PM

During week 42 and week 7-8, the museum is also open on Friday.

The Museum is closed between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Do you wish to visit outside regular office hours?

Are you a group wanting to visit the Circus Museum, we are happy to open our doors outside our regular office hours. However, it requires a specific booking from our catalogue. Contact us at info@cirkusmuseet.dk to inquire about the possibilities.

Special events

Throughout the whole year, there will be special events during which we open the museum, or which will affect our booking catalogue and accessibility for visits. We recommend that you always check our webpage before planning a visit. A special event includes Fastelavn, The International Circus Day, Halloween and the annual Christmas fair in Avedørelejren.
