Clown Race & Clown Show

Lace up your running shoes and come to the clown race at the Circusmuseet on Sunday 31/5 at 11:00, when we hold the Danish Hospital Clowns’ Run at the Circus Museum for the third time. It costs 80,- to participate, and the entire amount goes to the work of the Danish Hospital Clowns for hospitalized children in Denmark. You can register for the race here

The running route is approximately 2 km and goes around Avedørelejren and through the Quark Natur Center, where you can look at animals and climb up one of Vestegnen’s hidden giants, Bakketop Trine. The route is accessible to everyone, both big and small, two- and four-legged, and for those with wheels.

Before the starting gun sounds, there is a joint warm-up at Alarmpladsen, and after the race, your start number gives you access to a performance with Commedia School’s talented clowns at 12:00.

Before and after the race, it is possible to visit the Circusmuseet and participate in all the museum’s activities, such as Circus Fun at 10.30-12, Creative Workshop and go on a Circus Hunt. Children are free, while adults WITHOUT a start number cost 75 kr.

All children have free admission to the museum accompanied by an adult, while adults WITHOUT a starting number cost 75 kr. The clown show costs 20,- per child WITHOUT a starting number and 95,- per adult including entrance to the museum.
