Christmas market 6/12-2026

Bring the whole family to the Avedørelejrens Christmas Market on Sunday, 6 December, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, when Cirkusmuseet and Forstadsmuseet invite everyone to a festive day filled with Christmas spirit, entertainment, and great experiences.

Experience the cozy atmosphere of a traditional Christmas market, featuring a wide variety of unique Christmas gifts, local delicacies, and seasonal treats. This year’s market offers more than 75 exciting stalls, where you can find everything from ceramics, handicrafts, Christmas decorations, and naturally dyed yarn to gourmet butcher products, local beer, and locally produced honey. The tempting food trucks and market stalls will also offer a delicious selection of festive snacks and seasonal specialties.

The market vendors include a wonderful mix of local businesses, artisans, and skilled craft enthusiasts, creating a warm and welcoming market with high-quality products.

Throughout the day, the whole family can enjoy memorable experiences together, including the chance to meet Santa Claus. There will also be circus performances and live music in the market square.

The Christmas Market takes place on Alarmpladsen, in the heart of Avedørelejren, and everyone is welcome to join. Admission is free to both the market and Cirkusmuseet on the day.

All vendor spaces for this year’s Christmas Market, both in the tents and in Fægtesalen, are completely sold out. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please send an email to info@cirkusmuseet.dk briefly describing what you sell and whether you would prefer a space in a tent or in the Fencing Hall. Spaces may become available if some vendors are unable to attend.
