What does the Circus Museum have to offer students with special educational needs?

Circus is a brilliant tool for everyone, but especially for students with special educational needs (SEN). Everyone can be a part of the circus, no matter what physical, mental or language level, and it will develop physical, social and personal skills. Furthermore, the experience will put a smile on their faces, and leave them with a lasting feeling of success.

This learning experience consists of a tour of the museum, focussing on interaction and play. It also consists of a workshop, where the students try everything from juggling to the trapeze. The exhibition tour lasts 30-45 min., and the workshop lasts 45-60 min. Between the two parts, there will be a quick break to charge up with food or stillness.

Price: 600 DKK per class (Mon-Thur)

Duration: 120 min. (incl. break of 15-30 min.)

Class: Year 1-10 (7-17 years)

Circus Workshop

Do you wish only to focus on the physical element of this learning experience, we offer a stand-alone Circus Workshop lasting ca. 45 min. In this workshop, students work with acrobatics, juggling, balance etc. The goal is that the students feel a sense of success, and a realisation of being more capable than they thought when leaving the workshop.

Price: 400 DKK per class (Mon-Thur)

Duration: Ca. 45 min.

Class: Year 1-10 (7-17 years)
