Mardi Gras Sunday 19/2
Find a festive costume and come to the most colorful Mardi Gras party on Sunday 19 February at 10-15 at Cirkusmuseet. At the Circus Museum’s creative workshop, you can let your imagination run wild and give your outfit the final touch with a funny hat or a creative mask. At the workshop, you can also be made up as the funniest clown or finest princess on this day, when the museum’s make-up artists wield the make-up brushes. The creative workshop with make-up is open at 10-14 and is free.
At 11 and 14 you can let yourself be impressed when Cirkus Arcus performs in Fægtesalen. Experience the artistic abilities of the talented children and young people as they perform in the air and on the floor with various impressive circus artists. Admission to the performances is free.
At 13, there is barrel racing for all age groups, and of course there are crowns for the lucky cat queens and kings. There will be candy bags for all participating children at the barrel beating, which FGU Hvidovre is responsible for. Should hunger strike during the day, it is possible to settle down in the museum’s cozy café, where, among other things, toast, donuts and drinks are sold, while Café Bataillionen offers delicious Mardi Gras buns, burgers and grilled sausages.
